Darlene Taylor
Director and
Lead Teacher 4 Year Olds
Darlene has been with Little Pirates for 2 years, having most recently served as the lead teacher in our three-year-old classroom, she knows our children, families, and daily routines firsthand.
With over 40 years of experience in the childcare field, she brings a deep understanding of child development, a calm and nurturing presence, and a strong commitment to quality early education. Her dedication and knowledge will continue to guide our program and support both our staff and families.
She and her husband are Hudson High graduates. They have 5 adult children and 12 grandchildren.

Teacher Assistant and
Lead Teacher 3 Year Olds
Julia joined the Little Pirates Preschool team at the start of 2026, and we are thrilled to welcome her! With prior experience leading preschool classrooms, Julia brings fun energy to the classroom and a genuine love for early childhood education. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn.
Outside the classroom, Julia enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, baking treats to share, and relaxing with a good book.​
